Drag and Drop on Windows 10 Touch-Device

Hello - I have a problem using a simple drag and drop interaction in Captivate 2017 (even tested in 2019): on Windows 10 touch devices it is not possible to drag the elements. If you touch and hold one of the drag-elements you can move it a few pixels and then it returns to the original position. Tested in Edge, IE11 and Chrome.

On other touch devices e.g. Android phones or iPhone it's working well.

Does anyone has managed to use drag and drop interactions on Windows 10 tablets?

Thanks,

Marco

AFAIK the touch screens on a Windows desktop/laptop (have a Surface Pro) are not supported, I have logged a feature request many versions, but as long as it is not asked by many users, it will never make the list of 'things to fix' in Captivate. You can only drag with a mouse, not with a stylus, not with fingers. Please, log a feature request.

Actually I logged two feature requests: I would love to see a Touch workspace in Captivate likeyou have in Illustrator to be able to use my stylus on the Surfae Pro fr editing as well. Do not thnk this will ever make it however.

Hi Lilybiri - thanks for your anser. What a shame. I will send a feature request; hoping the touch support will be added in one of the next versions
