Drag and Drop Practice Exercise Stays After Moving Slides

Question

Is there a way to make drag and drop answers stay in the place that it was dropped, even when going back and forth between mutliple slides? This is more for a practice type exercise and there aren't any right or wrong answers but I need the drop sources to stick to their drop targets. I haven't found this answer yet. Thank you.

My answer may be a surprise. You can use D&D slides as Knowledge Check slides and as Quiz slides. The default behavior of KC slides is the same as for all KC slides: when you leave the slide the answer (here the drag actions) will be reset automatically. Whereas a 'scored' Drag&Drop slide will behave like all quiz slides: the answers will be frozen when you leave the slide. You can revisit the slide and the drag objects will remain where they have been dragged, but you cannot change the slide anymore. Only when taking a new attempt on Quiz level, using the Retake button on the Results slide, will the answers be reset.

If you are OK with the 'frozen' status after the first visit to the D&D slide, you just have to turn on 'Include in Quiz' in the Reporting part of the Actions tab in the D&D panel. You don't really need to add the score to the Quiz Total. Have a look at this screenshot:
