drag and drop quiz questions

I am creating a graded quiz with several different styles of questions.
Is it possible to have one of the questions as a drag and drop question? Or can they not be created on a quiz slide?

Thanks

You can use Drag&Drop as a regular question slide, not only to form a sequence. Sorry to disagree with Rod, but I'm often using D&D as question slide. Moreover it is compatible with HTML and can be used in responsive projects.

Sequencing is only one of the possibilities of built in D&D.

Lieve is correct that the native drag and drop interaction in Captivate can be set to have a score and report to the quiz.

However, I understood the original poster to be asking about having a drag and drop interaction on an actual quiz question slide, that behaved the same way as other quiz question slides.

Though they can be 'fudged' to appear similar to a normal quiz question slide, native drag and drop interactions are not treated by Captivate in exactly the same way as quiz question slides such as True/False or Multi-Choice.

If that's not an issue, and all you are looking for is a scored drag and drop interaction, then native drag and drop interactions are probably fine.

I was frustrated by this sentence: " just reordering options to form a sequence." Sequence is only one way, combination is the default setup fo D&D. Users reading this thread would believe that D&D in Captivate is very limited.

When used as a question slide, D&D slides don't behave totally like normal question slides, but they have a lot of features in common. Object actions even allow Advanced Answer feedback, which is only possible in MCQ slides with one correct answer. There is no partial scoring, but that is the same for most types of question slides. InBuilt states are a great enhancement in Captivate 9 for D&D.

There is a drag and drop quiz question, but that's actually just reordering options to form a sequence.

If you want a drag and drop matching type question using objects such as images or captions, AND you're publishing to SWF (not HTML5) then the ONLY way to have a drag and drop interaction as a quiz slide is to use the Infosemantics Drag and Drop Question Widget.
