Drag and Drop quiz questions only scored the first time through quiz

We have created a quiz and made drag and drop question that we selected to add to the quiz. They score with the quiz just fine. That is until someone hits the retake quiz button.

The user gets to go through and retake the quiz, including the drag and drop. The only problem is whether the get the answer right or wrong (drag and drop only, other questions work just fine when you retake the quiz) the answer is state is wrong in the final score screen.

Has anyone seen this or have any suggestions how we can get our drag and drop to be scored correctly no matter how many time the student retakes the quiz.
