Drag and Drop Source disappears

I created a drag and drop activity and when I drag an answer (right or wrong) the source disappears.

I have an image and two buttons. The learner drags a button to the image and it disappears. I have the buttons at the very front. It doesn't happen with the other 3 drag and drops that I have.

Does this happen while dragging the object (before you drop it)?

Then try the following:

Select the affected source and rescale it (i.e. just change the size). Then select "undo" in the menu to go back to the original size.

Now try again whether it works.

Buttons cannot be an object in Drag&Drop. Only on-interactive object can be dragged or be a target.

Check the Alpha and the Scale % in the Snap section of the drop target. Actually there are three ways that can make the drag source disappear:

Back instead of Front (you told that this was not the case)
Alpha set to 0% which means that the transparency will be 100%
Scale set to 0% which makes the drag source disappear as well
