Why does drag source on Drag & Drop accepts mouse click as well as drag?  I can't find where to fix the problem.  Can anyone help?

Sounds like you must be dragging a clickable object such as a button.  If so, these tend to execute their actions on Mouse Down.  So clicking on them to drag is also a valid click to execute as far as the object is concerned.

You don't really have a lot of control over this in Captivate.  Only the Infosemantics Event Handler widget gives you more control over the mouse events that objects respond to.

Test out a free trial version to see if it works for your situation:

No, it does it with images too.  Bizarre behaviour on click depending on settings.  Sometimes the drag source goes to one drop target, sometimes the other, sometimes it stays in the same place.
