Question

drag sources with no target

Hi -I have multiple drag objects but not all of them are mapped to a target. I am having a difficult time reaching the "success" state. Here are the details:

  • The interaction has three drop targets with seven drag sources. Three of the drag sources are in a one-to-one mapping to the three drop sources.
  • The option to auto-submit is selected.
  • Upon "success" an advanced action script is executed, which displays feedback and navigation buttons.

I have tested the interaction, and after I drag the three sources to the correct targets, the feedback is not displayed. I am thinking that the "unused" drag sources are somehow holding back the "success" state. Do I need to set any other options? Thanks!

Hope Devraj doesn't mind my added comment: the button 'Set Correct Answers' is in the Options tab of the Drag&Drop panel, not in the Format tab.

Thank you both so much! That did the trick. I had mapped the correct answers early in the process, but somehow they disappeared and I didn't notice. Thanks again.

They will disappear if you rename one or more of the drag sources/target objects. Have a look at my tips:

    Hi,

You are just doing it right. To confirm your drag and drop matches , have a look at "Set Correct Answers" pallet in "Drag and Drop" panel. You can find this under "Options" tab in Drag and Drop panel. If there are any wrong entries delete them from the pallet. If this still does not solve your problem can you please share your project at dgp at adobe dot com so that we can have look at the issue.

    Thanks
