Help! when I insert a arrow, or image, I can't position it where I want to on the slide, movement is jerky and it won't stay put.  I have never had this problem before, and  have no idea what's causing is.  I closed out of everything and did a shutdown and restart on my computer... with no luck.

Thank you.

    Hi,

You should also check for "Snap to Object" and "Snap to Grid" options.

btw you should try to work in 100% zoom. if your zoom is different captivate tends to become sluggish.

    Hello,

What is happening here is that your objects are "Snapping to the grid". Not sure what version of Captivate you are using. I know this works in Captivate 4, probably in 3 as well (Cant' remember). Go to the View menu along the top. There is probably a checkmark beside "Snap to Grid". Remove the check mark and you should be all set to go
