You can use the Skins editor to create a menu system. To add
this
1. Choose Project > Skins...
2. Click the menu tab
3. Enter the name of your root menu
4. Add some sub menus
You can change the Skin menu settings by clicking the
Settings... button
Now when you preview you should see the root menu located by
default in the top left hand corner of your Captivate project.
if you want something more snazzy and you are comfortable
using Flash then you could always create a custom menu using either
Flash or Flash Professional.
In addition to what my fellow Adobe Community Expert Mark has
suggested, you should know that if you choose to follow this route,
you need to plan carefully before creating your menu. This is
because aside from changing where the menu will appear, you will
have no ability to rearrange the list of Menu items after you
create it. For example, if you created a menu that looked like
this:
Menu Item B
Menu Item D
Menu Item F
And later decide to add a Menu Item A, you would logically
want that item to be listed first, before Menu Item B, no? But in
order to do this, you would need to DELETE all your menu items,
insert Menu Item A and proceed accordingly.
