Duplicated Background Audio when Publishing to Video but not Executable or .swf?

Hi Team,

Hope you can help me out.

Whats going on:

  • I have an audio file (mp3) that i imported to the background of my Adobe Captivate project.
  • If i publish as HTML5 / SWF or to executable the project is perfect.
  • But i publish as a video then i get 2 instances of my background music just slightly offset
  • I am using the default video settings below

What am i doing wrong that causes swf/executables to work perfectly but not videos?

Also note my audio management settings.  There is only one single background track.

    Which version do you use (exact number please)? I remember that the first version of 9 had audio issues.

    Hi Lilybiri,

    I have version of 9 that was a few months old.  I updated and that corrected the problem.  I thought i had auto updates on but apparently did not.

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    Updates are never automatic.
