Easing effects in Captivate on motion paths

I asked the same question as Keith asked, but mine was to @adobecaptivate Twitter. Unfortunately, I never got a reply.

I'm hoping Captivate 2017 has now included animation easing, as I cannot find it in Captivate 9. Without easing, animation look unnatural and the output looks dated.

I've taken a look at the XML and it's going to get complicated to add, so I'm hoping Adobe have added it to Captivate 2017. When you think about what was accomplished with Flash, and now Adobe Animate, you might think it would be simple to add to Captivate.

You actually don't need to combine Ease-in with a motion path unless you're planning something unusual like a freeform motion path. Straight left to right type motions can be achieved with the Entrance and Exit versions of the Ease-in effects.

The only thing about Ease-in is that they end with the easing effect. On exit, you will start off full speed and then slow down as the object arrives at its final position.

Here is a screenshot where I'm doing something similar to what you describe. Click the small arrow on the timeline next to the Image to reveal where on the timeline your effects appear. You can move them as necessary. 

Did you try to combine EaseIn.../EaseOut... with motion paths? Motion paths do not have easing built in (maybe you can edit the XML file). But you can create custom effects which combine different motion effects. Drawback: EaseIn and EaseOut have only straight paths, not curved paths.
