edge inspect blocked by geolocalization

Hello, I'm trying to preview a captivate project with edge inspect, using Chrome.

I installed everything correctly, the proof is that i can see any website from chrome using the extension, but when i try to preview my captivate 8, a message appears in the bottom right corner of the window saying that geolocalization was blocked, probably because requested from a local file, and nothing is displayed on the syncronized device (ipad)

any workaroud for this? if i must upload the project each time, Edge Inspect would be unuseful, and still if i should set up something like an Apache server just to test...

Hi, thanks for answering, i did some other tries, i changed the local folder but chrome shows me always the blocked geolocalization message. the block is active on the pc, before sharing the content on edge, so that it probably causes the content to be blocked on edge inspect. I probably should use a local webserver like Apache or similar, but this is not so practical for a fast development.

Did anyone of you try the edge inspect preview function having chrome set as primary web browser? never had similar problem?

    Hi,

In Edge inspect preview the Geolocation is on by default. When you do a Inspect preview in captivate and view the result on any device, it will ask you for permission to allow the location sharing or not. Can you tell what option did you choose there?

Geo-location ideally should not affect the other content in you project. I doubt it might be because of some other issue. Can you please try creating a small project with 1-2 slides containing normal text captions and preview the new project using edge inspect?

    Thanks and Regards
