Edit Rollover Slidelet Function

Hi,

I am using a rollover slidelet to display an image. I have set the hover delay to be long enough so that it does not automatically move forward. I see that the slidelet has an "X" that users can click on to exit what ever is displayed in the rollover slidelet. However the "X" is very small. Sometimes the user might miss it. Is it possible to make this "X" larger? Also can it be done in the program files so that all future instances of the rollover slidelet can automatically have the correct size "X"?

Any assistance or information would be great.

Thanks,

LKVA

    Hi there

Unfortunately there isn't a way to configure that X. You should consider submitting a Wish Form to alert the development team that you would like the ability to.

As for the timing, note that an option exists that is labeled "Stick Slidelet". This means if the rollover area is clicked by the end user, the slidelet will remain on the screen for its programmed duration. As long as you have a Click Box, Text Entry Box or a Button on the slide to keep it paused, the slide will remain paused and the slidelet may be interacted with an infinite number of times. However, if you were to change the project settings from AS2 to AS3, the behavior will change. In this case you would want to ensure you clicked the Advanced tab and configure "No Action" as the mouseover action.

Note that if you were to insert another Rollover Slidelet area in a location where the user may mouse over inside the first slidelet area, upon mousing over the second area it will dismiss the first Rollover Slidelet. So perhaps you could employ this in a creative way to allow the user an easier way to dismiss the first slidelet.

    Cheers... Rick

Thanks Rick. It really would be nice to have this fish so I followed your suggestion and submitted a Wish form.
