Edit SWF-Playback-controls

Is there a way to edit the SWF playback controls? The always-present info button makes them unusable for us.

Until now I used the BMP-style controls which I know how to edit (we made out own buttons) but they do not show up after inporting into RoboHelp - evidently the frame border in which they are placed is exported as a separate SWF-object.

    Rick,

Have you been able to contact Paul? I have not received a single reply from multiple tries. The playbar swfs are expired. I would be willing to pay for an FLA for the info customization play bar on his site. I thought I'd ask you since he lists you as a friend on his site. ;) Maybe you can get through to his email.

Thanks for the fast replies. I guess the only way is to directly edit the swf files which I cant do without flash tooling (and knowledge and sufficient time). Only solution is to continue to use the BMP control styles which can be customized.

    Darn these logos.

    Hi again robert-sfl

You should probably give fellow Adobe Community Expert Paul Dewhurst's site a look. Click here to visit Paul's site.

If you like what you see, toss some change his way for the effort!

    Sincerely... Rick

Forgot to mention, although he lists these as Captivate 2, I believe they should work fine for Captivate 3 as well.

    Hi robert-sfl

In addition to what our cute and helpful geekygURL offered up, there is a Developer Center article that may be useful to you. You may read it by clicking this magickal link.
