Edit textbox display

I need to create a text box which only shows "********" when your typing but needs a correct answer of 1234. Trying to make it look as real as the live enviorment, I've found a captivate module which does this however the person that created has now left so I could ask him. Looking at the properties of the textbox I cant figure out how they've made it just show as "****" and not what is actually being typed.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Regards
Kevin

Hi Kevin

When you are looking at the properties for the Text Entry Box, click the Options tab. Once you do this, you should see a check box labeled "Password". If you click to place a check mark there, whatever is typed is reflected back to the user as an asterisk ( * ).

Hope this helps a bit... Rick
