Editing all smart shape styles

Question

Adobe Captivate 9I have about 100 slides that have a blue smart shape square on them.  Now the project owner wants to change the color.  Is there a way to have the color update for the boxes all at once?

You can control this using Object Styles.

But unless you had set up a custom Object Style that ONLY applied to these particular 100 smart shapes, then changing the colour of the default Object Style for all smart shapes would apply this change to every single one in your project and that might not be what you want.

The lesson here is that it pays to set up your project THEME and group objects according to their purpose in the project so that you can more easily have them all belong to the same Object Style.
