Editing Mouse Points

I am editing a video demo in Adobe Captivate 9, and need to "smoothen" mouse movements after I trimmed a video. Normally you can click on the mouse icon in the timeline and it brings up a menu where this is an option. However, occasionally clicking the mouse point does not bring up the menu and I can't figure out how to edit that specific mouse point. Any suggestions??

I do a lot of video recording and have a possible answer for what you see occurring. If you move the yellow start and end markers, (like sequence markers in Adobe Premier) along the timeline from their initial position at the beginning of the recording on the left and at the end of the recording on the right in the timeline to shorten or trim the video file duration to a specific portion of the video, mouse icons in the area not defined by the markers when clicked on will not show the mouse properties.

Thanks, hadn't thought of that possibility. That would explain why CTRL-Z could help. Maybe we should have asked for a screenshot, would have been visible.

I don't really understand the question. Edit mouse points have to be done with the Properties panel, not with a menu. Can you post a screenshot what you mean by 'menu is not popping up'? You can open the Properties panel at any time using the Window menu.

    Hi,

When I click on the mouse point that won't let me edit it, this is the properties panel:

When I click on other mouse points, in the properties menu I get the mouse options:

It's like the system isn't recognizing me clicking the mouse in the timeline sometimes.

The first screenshot shows the Properties panel for the slide timeline of the cpvc project, not for a selected mouse point.
