Editing video demo

Hi,

Sorry for my english; it's not my first language!

I am using Captivate 9. I started with an empty project and recorded short videos in separate slides. Then, I recorded narration within each of those slides. I didn't want to do both at the same time. Now, I need to edit the videos. I have to trim some parts wich are too long for the narration.

When I stay in the slide, I don't have the option to trim the video. If I go in the video itself, I can't hear the audio, so it's hard to know where to trim.

Thanks for your help!

Beside, when I can guess where to cut (for example, I know my narration starts only at 2 secondes, so I want to trime the 2 first secondes), I do it in the video and save, but the section I trimmed is still the in the slide.

How did you insert the 'videos'? Best way is to use the Slides, cpvc-slide option because you'll have the raw cpvc on each slide, and can use the video editor. Do not insert the audio in the slide, but in the video editor.
