Editing XML Export to change Captivate Project

Hello all,

I would like to make changes to my project by editing the XML file you can export. However, when I export the XML and try to copy the code for a specific slide and paste it to duplicate it, when I import the XML there are no changes to the product. Has anyone had any experience doing this or know the correct procedure for it?
