Question
ELM LMS Captivate 3 Integration
Hi Everyone,
We're having issues integrating a clients Captivate 3 movies into the PeopleSoft LMS called ELM. At first, course testing resulted in either the course failing or completing upon clicking the first button. Now, I finally have a version of the course that is tracking as in-progress and/or in-complete up to a point within the course. Until I get to the last four slides of the course.
On slide 104 there is a click box, which does not score or report, when I click on it the course navigates to the next slide which is slide 105. At slide 105 if I exit without clicking the active reporting/ scored click box on it, the course fails and the status is reported as Not Complete. Until this point all the reporting/scored click boxes that are on three slides ( 8, 19 & 36) in the course report and score correctly if the course is exited before hitting slide 104. Slides 106 & 107 do not have any click boxes or any interactivity at all. I've double-checked the click boxes on slide 104 are not Included in the Quiz, and Report Answer is unchecked, Add to Total is unchecked and points are zero. Slide 105 has one click box that is Included in Quiz, Add to total is checked for 1 point and Report Answer is also checked.
The Mastery Score in the SCORM Manifest is set to 4 points, because 4 out of 7 possible points is required to complete the course. In Advanced Interactions the reporting, tracking and points are all shown correctly for all four of the score reporting click boxes on these slides. In the Quiz Preferences, I've set to Report complete/incomplete, in Report Data = Quiz Results only, the Score Reported is as Score, Reporting Level is checked to Report Score. The only thing I've noticed in the Quiz Preferences > Quiz> Pass or Fail settings, if I select the points to pass radio button and set at 4 out of the 7. Captivate will not hold this number, after clicking OK and opening the Quiz Preferences again it shows zero.
Anybody have any ideas what is causing this behavior?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Charlotte
