email link opens browser

I have a mailto link in Acrobat. On some computers the link opens the user's email application. On other computers the link launches a browser.

How can I correct the link so that it always opens an email application?

So is this an Acrobat question or a Captivate question?

Either way, I'd be totally surprised to find there is anything that could be done to change the behavior. Likely it's totally depending on the configuration of the machine it's running on.

LOL, well, the question could actually apply to either product. And I'd seriously like to know what others might have to say about it.
