Embed A Video slide best practice?

Looking for best practices as embedding a video in Captivate 2017. Currently we embed from our internal video hub. We set the slide to be the duration of the video and then advance. Is there a way to trigger the slide to advance when the video has completed? Possibly Javascript? How do others set this up?

We have noticed that the web object is on 'top' so if we have any buttons on the page for the user to click to continue, our video can not take up the entire screen or cover the button. We generally do not use the captivate skins.
