Embed Codes for Videos - best practices?

Does anyone have knowledge of which embed codes work best for videos? We use third party video hosting and our multimedia specialist has 4 different kind of embed codes to choose from: inline, lightbox, responsive or iframe. We have been using iframe up until now, but i'm curious if one of these other options is better.

I'm assuming you are using a web object to display these videos. You should know that a web object is just Adobe's term for an i-frame. Unless there is other information out there, I believe this is your only option.

    I always use an iFrame (not a web objet) to insert an interactive movie in my blog posts.
