Embed HTML Code into Captivate 8

Hello,

My organization is working on a Captivate 8 course that included embedded HTML code - that will play a video that lives on our internal/hosted server. I've inserted an embedded web object into the Captivate course and pasted the HTML code. When I preview in browser, the video plays without any issues. After I publish the course and preview I cannot see the video anymore. If I upload the published course to the LMS the video doesn't play their either.

Looking closer, the published version of the course pushes the slide (or maybe entire course) into IE5. My thought is that is preventing the video from playing. Is there a setting within captivate to force the course/video into a more updated browser? We've tried modifying the HTML code within the course itself, but it seems to ignore browser settings included there.
