Question

Embedded quizzes seem to prevent logical navigation

I keep running into a problem regarding quizzes and navigation. I would like to allow users to use the table of contents or the navigation bar to revisit slides they have already completed. The problem is that I have quizzes distributed throughout the module and after users review a previously completed slide Captivate advances to a quiz slide that has already been completed and gets stuck. Is there any way to prevent Captivate from revisiting completed quiz questions after they are submitted or is there another way to address this? I am requiring users to take all quiz questions and get them correct with infinite attempts.

    Which version do you use?

    I am using Captivate 9.

OK, in CP9 there is no longer a Next button that doubles as Skip button.

If navigation is only by TOC (not with a playbar that has a progress bar), you could start with hiding the quiz slides in the TOC.
