embedded video endless loading but would not play.

I have just finished a new project which also contains about 15 videos. First i have uploaded the videos into the project itself but the latter has become too big (2.5gb) and kept crashing when trying to publish to moodle. so i have uploaded all the videos (.mp4) onto a server and link the video using the URL. Captivate detect the video as i can see the thumbnail of the video. However when i preview the project the video goes into an endless loading mode but it would not play. I would be very grateful if someone could assist with this please.

Previewing will not allow you to view using a URL link, you'll need to publish to a webserver and use in URL format to the IP address,  or LOCALHOST://, for the URL link to remote media to work.

I have now uploaded the scorm package on moodle which is on a web server. All videos are on a separate web server each having a unique URL which i used to link to the package. But it would still not load, any idea why? What do you mean by URL format to the IP address? see image below
