Question

embedded video leaves mark on following slides

I'm getting a strange shadow type of mark on every slide after my embedded video plays. A partial screen shot of the shadow like effect shows up and stays on every slide after my embedded video slide plays. This shadow angle is from where the border of the embedded video was. Any ideas on how to remove this? Is in some of the video settings that I'm overlooking. The only way I can make it go away is to use the TOC and navigate away to another page and then return to this point. I simply cannot ask my learners to do this as a solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This can sometimes be due to a compression artifact.

Go to Preferences > Project > Size and Quality.  Deselect all compression options and then republish to see if that helps the issue.

If it does fix the issue, go back and select the compression options one at a time to see if you can isolate which one is causing the issue.  It will usually be the Advanced Project Compression option.

Once you find which one you need to turn off, use those settings.

    Thanks Rod,

I did as you suggested and  no change in settings worked. Silly enough I just removed the video from the slide. then replaced it back in. That took care of it. Glitchy it seems.
