End of words being cut off in Captivate 5

This is the problem I am having: In Captivate 5, I have added audio files to my slides. When I preview the slides individually, or 5 at a time, the audio is perfect. However, when I preview the entire project, the last word on 2 of the slides in the project gets cut off inexplicably. So, in one slide "class" becomes "cla" and in the other slide "image" becomes "ima". I have left room at the end of each of these slides to prevent the words getting cut off, but I cannot figure out why the sound is fine when listening to the slide individually, and not when I listen to the slide in the project. Help?
