Error when opening a file captivate

In one of our files we are getting an error message when opening .

The message says:
Adobe Captivate can not open this file , verify that it is already open , it was damaged , if the file was an e -mail if the hard disk has enough space and whether the system has sufficient resources

We have already tested all the possibilities , but we have not succeeded .
Does anyone know how to solve this problem and what may have caused this?

I have had this problem in the past, it may be a sign that your Captivate file is being accessed across the network and has been corrupted during a save. Be sure to enable backup file creation, and copy the working file to your computer's hard drive for editing.

Also, check in the same folder location where the CPTX is located.  Sometimes you will see a LOCK file there with a similar name to the file you're trying to open.  This file is intended to lock the project so that two people cannot have it open at the same time. But occasionally the lock file doesn't get removed when you close down the project (perhaps because Captivate crashes at that time). Try deleting that Lock file and see if it can then be opened,

That error message pops up for a lot of situations, doesn't help really to detect the cause.

What do you mean by 'you have tested all possibilities'? Did you have a backup? If yes, can you open it? Do you still have the cache for that project, can be used to recreate an older backup?
