Error when publishing project to be viewed in web browser

Hello,

I am trying to publish a project which can be viewed in a web browser and later uploaded to a learning portal.

When I publish it as .HTML and .SWF, the video plays in Firefox but I get this error: << An error has occurred: Error - unable to acquire LMS API, content may not play properly and results may not be recorded.  Please contact technical support. Press 'OK' to view debug information to send to technical support. >>

When I send the file to a colleague, she can't open it at all.

Also, when I publish it as a zipped file (which I have also done), which file in the folder should I select to play the project?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there

If you publish as a zipped file, everything needed is inside the zip. You (or your end user) would need to unpack the zip before trying to view anything. I believe a zip output is needed for uploading into some LMS'.

Speaking of LMS', are you intending to load the project into a LMS? If not, you should probably turn off the reporting options. I think that you have them enabled and that's what is causing the message you are reporting.

Cheers... Rick
