Event Video Looping Issue Captivate 9

I have a set of 15 second mp4 event videos on a single slide. Each is triggered as part of an advanced action that also plays an audio clip. I have the videos set to loop and it works exactly as I want in the in Captivate preview for each video, i.e. the audio plays and the 15 second video loops continuously until the next advanced action is triggered.

However, when published and uploaded to the server the behavior changes. The video may loop once or not at all, and it may take 20 seconds before the second and final loop. I cannot discern a pattern and each video seems to function in a slightly different way. Has anyone experienced this odd behavior, and if so are there any suggestions you might offer?

I cannot remember such a problem, but want to ask which exact version number you are using? The most recent one is 9.0.2.437.

Hi Erik,

Not sure if it will solve your problem but I think this is part of your problem. When you are loading the 15 second video and set it to rewind and play automatically, it plays fine in preview, but when you package it has long lags. I would wager those lags equal the length of your audio. What I think is happening is video is only looping when it complete transiting the whole slide, and the audio layer is the longest layer.

Let me know if this is the issue and we can see if there are any solutions.
