Exam Check boxes not working on multiple systems
Hello,
I just had a 1,5 hours chat with Adobe support but they could not help me and forwarded me to this forum:
Our company is creating multiple exams for partners and customers, which can be accessed on our homepage.
Just recently (4-8 weeks) i get a lot of complaints of users who want to use an exam but can not click on any checkobox or buttons.
This error happens on different systems
Windows 7 or 8
Firefox, Chrome IE etc.
On my PC it works fine with IE and Firefox but not on Chrome (identical Flash Player Version).
It also seems to work when I view the files locally but not when the exam file is embedded on our Homepage (but it did work before for years! This just happens for a couple of weeks).
I also tried this with a new exam made in a different Captivate Version (So Far I tried captivate 4 and 7). But it stays the same.
The adobe support also tested it and received the same behaviour. It works on some systems/browsers but it doesn’t on certain systems/browsers. The support said, that this might be an error due to Flash Player, because it always worked with older versions (Which makes sense, because this error just happened recently) .
These seems to be an error resulting of a copmbination of Flash Player/Browser/ way the file is embedded. But I have no further idea.
Has anyone any idea? Has anyone encountered something like this (I haven’t found anything so far about this topic).
If this can’t be resolved, we will have a big problem, because hundreds opf partners are working with these exams.
