They are Quiz slides set to 0 score. I wanted the functionality of the next button disabled until answer as found in Q slides. However, naturally, 'retake quiz' button goes to first page of any Quiz page regardless of it being 0 score. KC slide is ignored when clicking 'retake,' of course.

Using Captivate 9.

In Captivate version 8.0.3 or earlier a knowledge check created in the way described in the article was technically still part of the quiz, it just skipped over if the the course was reviewing or retaking the quiz.

My assumption is that you are using Captivate version 8.0.3 or earlier because the solution in version 9 would be to use the in-built knowledge check slide type.

You could create your own multiple choice question using buttons and advanced actions. This isn't the only way to do it but if your knowledge checks were created in the manor I show in this video, you won't have to worry about these knowledge checks showing up in your quiz review.

Are you talking about the KC slides included in Captivate 9 or do you use default quiz slides with a score = 0 for the Knowledge Check slides?
