EXE vs Full Screen

I am trying to get my content to display in a player on the network without any of the browser menus, they cause the user to have to scroll. I tried full screen publishing, but it creates a redirecting HTML page and an executable requires the user to decide what to do with the executable. Anyone know how to publish a course to acheive what I am looking for?

Hi, I had this issue as well a while back but someone kindly explained to me that the warning message only comes up when running the published swf on a local machine. When it is published to a network/web this warning does not come up as the file is not a threat to local registry items or something like that :)

Hi, not sure if this helps but I am trying to create some resources to run on mobile devices (not I-pods) for students. I found these two articles useful http://www.adobe.com/devnet/captivate/articles/ipod_02.html
and this one on RaisingAmiee http://tinyurl.com/2scxdg

Is there anyone else out there making content to run on mobile devices?

One of the problems I had is that I had to access the Internet on the device to get to the Macromedia Settings so that I could stop the warning message each time I played the captivate file - the warning was getting in the way of the first slide. Not very helpful if the device cannot access the Internet.

In the UK there is great interest and money provided by government for mobile device projects in colleges, http://www.molenet.org.uk/ but personally I think that learners will listen to podcasts and watch videos but when it comes to interactive content this can be difficult if the learners have motor skills problems or if the device needs to be connected to the Internet to download latest updates, plugins etc.

Any views/comments from others? or maybe this discussion should be in the e-learning forum?
