Exit Action Issue

Hi,

The Exit action work fine in preview, but it does not work in the published version. The course window does not exit (tried on IE Browser, Chrome). I have to close it by closing the browser window. I have published it to swf/html5 output.

Also, I have tried to make it work using Execute javascript command - "top.close();". But still it does not work.

I have also tried to assign value 1 to the cpCmndExit function, still the issue persists.

Please let me know if any one has a workable javascript or any other solution to this issue.

Thanks,

Aparna

    What LMS are you using?

This is one function that can behave differently based on the LMS, and the SCORM/AICC version you are publishing under.

Its not into LMS publishing but it will go eventually after content and SME review. Right now, I have published it on my local machine as SWF/HTML5 output.

    Thanks!

Is this output being delivered from a SCORM player in an LMS?

If so, you may find that the issue is with the player blocking your action.

No, as of now its not into LMS publishing. I am trying it out on different browsers, before sending the SCORM published output for upload on LMS. I had published it as SWF/HTML 5 on my local machine. The zipped output was sent to course reviewer, and she said Exit button didn't work at her browser and all else was fine.

And same is at my end as well, i tried on Chrome and IE, but it didn't work.

    Thanks for your time!
