Question

exit module buttons do not work in swf?

I created "exit module" buttons for the .exe modules and they work fine.  When I republish as .swf files, the 'exit module' buttons are rendered useless.  No response to a click except for sound.

Is there something I can adjust on the exit button that will close the browser?

So many questions need to be answered.

Did you turn on reporting?  Are you posting to LMS? What javascript is assigned to the exit button?

Sorry for the delay....for some reason I am receiving every questions posted to this forum and it's all going to my spam folder.

I am using Captivate 6 only...no LMS reporting.  All I wanted to do is have an exit button that would close the module AND the browser.  No javascript,  I used execute advanced action and the created the 'exit' in advanced actions.

No need to respond.  I have eliminated the exit option.  The learner will just have to close the browser.

If you search on the forums you will find closing the browser from the swf is inconsistent at best.

this thread has a possible solution:  http://forums.adobe.com/message/4931242

Of course, some of it will depend on if you're serving from an LMS or straight web server.
