Expiring Project - Why?

I was wondering, what would cause a simulation in Adobe Captivate to expire? Does it have to do with the license? Or is it a setting in the project? I seem to remember that one of the properties had a due date section? Any help?

    Hi smejus57

Project Expiration is an option you may configure in Captivate. After a certain date has been reached, the message appears and the project cannot be opened by the end user. Well, it can't be opened until they roll their system date backward, prior to the expiration.

If you created something using Captivate in Trial version mode, an expiration date is configured for the project. You just need to turn it off. So click Edit > Preferences... > Project node > Start and End node. Once there, you should see where to turn this off or set a new date.

    Cheers... Rick
