export closed captions fails in Captivate 2019

When I export closed captions in Captivate 2019, it creates an empty document with only the title.

Any suggestions?

    It may be due to incompatibility between the Word version and the Captivate version. That workflow always has been tricky. Sometimes it helps when you have Word open, and insist, sometimes you need to have Word closed.

    Can you export to XML?

    Yes I can export to XML, but not sure it exports the closed captions.
    Having word open or closed has no result.
