I have a capitvate project that I created in captivte.  I would like to export the slides to powerpoint.  Is there a way to do this? I need the slides content and images.

One workaround I can think of, if you have Acrobat Pro: Export your captivate project to a PDF. Then open in Acrobat Pro, you should be able to save as .jpg or .png from there. You can then import the images to powerpoint.

There will be zero animation or interactions, but you will be able to produce a PPT file for that discerning manager that insists "training must be in PowerPoint."

No way, you can import PPT, not the other way. Cp has lot more functionality that a presentation tool like PPT has not.

You could publish the Captivate file and insert it as an animation in PPT. I don't understand your goal, cannot see why I should ever use a presentation tool to embed eLearning?
