Exporting score reports to local text/HTML

Is it possible to export a score report to a local text or HTML file rather than use a LMS or email? It seems like you should be able to execute a JavaScript that creates such a file containing the contents that are normally sent in an email. I would like to create a stand-alone quiz that can run from a CD (or a minimal install) and will generate a human-readable report without requiring a LMS or a specific email destination for the results. I'm using Adobe Captivate 2. Does anyone know how to do this?

I don't know of a solution but think the issue is simply the 'browser
security model' - or something like that.
Generally, web pages aren't allowed to write to your HD; consider the
security issues if that were allowed. The 'execute a javascript that
creates a file' could be a very bad thing.
So as far as I understand it, that really limits the options.

I'd imagine you could have the javascript generate an HTML page as a
result, perhaps limited to the same window. Would that be helpful? I'm
not sure how to do it off the top of my head but, essentially,
redirecting the javascript functions in the Captivate's parent HTML file
to output to the browser (document.write).
