Exporting to PowerPoint

Hi folks,

this has probably been addressed but is there anyway to export a Captivate file to PPT format? Perhaps not necessarily with all the animations features, but at least to something that could be tweaked for use in the classsroom?

I know we can import but is this a possibility?

thanks in advance!!

No export directly to a PPT or PPTX file format.  If your Captivate content is just linear and not interactive, then your best option would be to publish it out as an MP4 video file which you could then import into PowerPoint to play on a slide.

Answer is negative. The goal of a PPT is completely different, I don't understand why you ask this.  Loss of all interactivity? Prefer publishing to MP4 in that case. Although both applications are based on themes, the themes are not interchangeable at all, a Theme in Captivate has a lot more features than in PPT.  And what about quizzes, scored objects, advanced/shared actions, variables, JavaScript?

Use the assets in the Project Library and you can recreate slides for a presentation goal. Although personally I always use a Captivate project when presenting, because it can easily be transformed in a learner controlled tutorial by adding narration and custom navigation.
