Fatal error when publishing content

Good day,

We have recently purchased Captivate 9 and installed it. However when creating content and publishing it we get a " Fatal error has occurred and the application is being terminated". Captivate then closes automatically.

I am publishing SCORM 1.2 .

Please assist in this regard.

Thanks

Gary

    HI

This is also weird, I imported a Powerpoint presentation into Captivate 9. When trying to preview it I get the Fatal Error again.

It runs until 75%  complete (Saving the project) and then bombs me out.

Not sure if this is somehow connected to publishing SCORM though.

    HI RodWard

After reinstalling Adobe Captivate 9 , I changed the Default Folder locations from  :

Publish At : C:\Users\gbianchi.METMOM\Documents\My Adobe Captivate Projects

Project Cache: C:\Users\gbianchi.METMOM\Documents\Adobe Captivate Cached Projects

    To:

    Publish At:C:\Users\gbianchi\Desktop\testing for lms upgrade

    Project Cache:C:\Users\gbianchi\Desktop\testing for lms upgrade

    It then published successfully.

I see that the . is not in the path.

Thanks for you input and advise.

    Regards

    Gary

Are you launching Captivate as an administrator?

    Hi

    Thank you for your response.

I ran Captivate as an administrator as suggested but getting the same error. I have changed the file directory as well.

    Regards

    Gary

Do you get this error if you just create a new blank project and then try to publish it WITHOUT SCORM reporting turned on?

Can you please show me a screenshot of the Publish dialog?
