File Not Found Error Message

Folks,

Got some great advice from Captiv8tr the other day on how to link to a pdf without specifying a path and it seemed to work great! I published, put the file in the location and starting getting an error message. I removed the link from the button  as I was testing something else and even though the project does not point to the file anymore I keep getting the same message.

The error is this..... firefox can't find the file at /G:/LL Pres/T.........

If the link isn't there, why is it still looking for the file?

thanks Guys/Gals.

    Hi there

When exactly do you see this error present?

    When the project loads?

When clicking something in the published files? (If so, what?)

    Some other time or event?

There are precisely 2,775,587.238 places that the Captivate could be referencing this file. Knowing what the event is that causes it will help you narrow that possibility considerably!

    Cheers... Rick

    Thanks Rick.

Currently the project is only four slides. The linked doc was on a button on the 3rd slide. The error does not happen when I go to that slide OR when I click the button that used to have the link.... it happens when I access the fourth slide that literally has nothing but an image. I should mention it happens when I click a button on the first slide that links me to the fourth.

Thanks in advance and also for being so damn speedy.
