File will not open in Cap 4 and no error message displays

How do we save a file that will not even load in Captivate? In other words, a warning doesn’t display saying that the file is corrupt, but it will not open at all. When the file is double-clicked, the intro Cap page displays (as usual), but then the actual file does not open. When Cap is already open, and the File select option is use, nothing happens...it just doesn't open. Please advise.

Hello there,

By default, Adobe Captivate 4, should create a .bak file. Try removing the file suffix .bak, see if you can open the file from this backup.
