Fill in the blank - Question issue

Hi folks,

We have been using Fill-in-the-blank questions for years in our courses and have not had any issues previously (apart from the annoying overlapping of dropdown menus). But we have recently come across this issue of dropdown answers not displaying at all, this was first noticed on all mobile devices a few weeks ago, and since then it is no longer appearing on desktop browsers either.

Here is how they are now displaying (in Chrome, Firefox, IE and mobile):

issue1

A solution we have found is to create a Random Question Slide, add the fill-in-the-blank question to a Pool and draw it in through the Random Question Slide - this then displays all the dropdown options as it use to (very weird).

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

CP9 (9.0.2.437)

Cheers.

Ross

If your HTML5 content was recently re-published and uploaded to web using the version of Captivate 9 that you indicate (9.0.2) did you ensure that your web server or LMS server was set up to allow the JSON mimetype?  This is now required as Captivate now uses JSON files to supply some of the graphic components in the output.
