Question

Fill in the blanks

Hi

I'm trying to create a questions slide with 5 statements - each including a 'Fill in the blank'.

However when I create a 'fill in the blank' slide and select how many I would like Captivate generates one question on 5 separate slides which I don't want.  I would like the 5 statements listed one after the other on the same slide - is this possible?

I can't see anything in the 'Quiz' tab which allows me to do this....

Many thanks

Kim

A FIB question can have multiple blanks, is not limited to one.

However you have to be aware of the fact that the score is 'black-white': learner will only get the score when all Blanks have been filled in correctly.

You can also create a custom question slide, using scored Text Entry Boxes which will allow partial scoring, but you will not have all the functionality of regular quiz slides, unless you are able to create the necessary advanced actions and or JS.

Ok thanks.

I'm happy for the learner to get the score once all have been answered correctly as they will have learnt the words in a previous slide and so not too tricky.

Ok so how do i set it to display multiple FIBs on one slide?

Use one FIB question. Select each word that has to be filled in separately, mark it as Blank, and add the correct answer(s). Repeat for the next word. This is a screenshot with 3  words marked as Blank
