Filmstrip view and preview are showing different slides

I am new to Adobe captivate 8, the preview of the filmstrip slides are different for example, if i add a graphic or rollover captions in preview it will have an additional slide added with that graphic or rollover text on it. How do i get rid of the additional slide if i don't see it in the filmstrip?

    Your question is not very clear at all. Which Preview do you use? Best Previews are the Browser previews (F11 or F12 for a blank project). Rollover captions or rollover images never add new slides at all: both objects have two areas, the rollover area and the caption (or the image) itself. Those are no slides at all, but objects that you can edit on the slide where you inserted the rollovers.

    Maybe you should insert screenshots to explain what you mean?

    BTW: can you check the exact version number (under Help, About Adobe Captivate)? Last version was 8.0.3.
