Question

Fitting image in Master slide

I am using Captivate 9 and have resized my background image to match the size of my Master Slide. When I insert the image, it isn't wide enough (1024 x 768 for slide and image). When I resize the image to make it even wider, it still doesn't fill the slide. Ideas? I am wasting too much time on this.  Thanks for your help in advance!

I created a new discussion from your question, instead of answering to a 8yrs old thread.

Are you talking about a responsive or a normal project? How did you check the resolution for the image? Best practice is to give it exactly the wanted resolution. Is it set to X=0 and Y=0 - for a normal project? There must be some misunderstanding probably. Did you enable the Rulers? Does the image show up on the Rulers with the correct size?

Thanks for the reply. I used Photoshop to size the background images and they are just a hair off. Maybe it's just my OCD kicking in

Also, is there any way to have background images NOT look all smashed and skinny across all breakpoints? I am creating templates for other users. A co-worker thought about leaving some of the edges "hang off" the slide but I think that will freak the users and make them think something is broken.

Thanks again for your help. It is appreciated!
