Hello Everyone,

Im aware that Captivate itself has this  function to HIDE/SHOW objects, but Im wondering if there is a similar approach that one can do if he/she wanted to access those objects(within Captivate) from Flash?Accessing Captivate Variables from Flash has been known to everyone, but could one also access Objects in Captivate through its ITEM NAME from FLASH?

Am I making any sense?

BR,

-Miguel

I'm delving into scripting, and this site was recommended to me: http://pipwerks.com/tag/adobe-captivate/

@Miguel.  The answer is Yes.  Using the object's Item Name is how two of our widgets access objects on the Captivate stage to turn them into interactive objects (http://www.infosemantics.com.au/catalog/widgets/interactive/wdgt_event_handler_01) or drag and drop objects (http://www.infosemantics.com.au/catalog/widgets/question/wdgt_dragAndDropLite_AS3).

Hello Rod,

Thank you very much for those widgets.

I am afraid I can't have them very soon, thought 'twas for free:)

Appreciate the help.
