Fonts converted in published PDF

Hi,

I am using a font that is not common on all computers. When I publish the modules to HTML5/SWF, the font is showing correctly on another person's computer which doesn't have that font installed. However, when I publish to a PDF, that font is replaced by Arial on that person's computer. Is this normal behavior? Is there a way I can include the correct font in the PDF?
